Lately I have gotten a bit of work done on sports-cards.ca. I have finally gotten phpAdsNew to work on the site and have 2 banners rotating on there. One is the default for the site, the other is for a posting contest that I have put up in hopes of getting some registrations on the site and some discussion going.

I have a few more forum contests I plan on doing once I get some traffic coming into the website. I am hoping once I start getting some real content up there that the masses will come. I think I have picked a good niche. It is one that doesn’t feel like work, I enjoy doing it, and it is getting me back into one of my favorite past times which is collecting hockey cards.

I have installed and customized an article script. Need to work on this more to get it to suit my needs. I cannot figure out at this point how to get phpAdsNew to work on it. I am not sure if it is because you can only serve ads in one format or not. I have it on my message boards and now trying to place it within PHP files and can’t figure out how to do that. If anyone knows, please feel free to let me know ;o)

The traffic on the site in the past three months has grown. I think I am averaging about 25 uniques to the site a day. I know, nothing compared to most sites but for me, it is a lot. The traffic from one month to the next is doubling and I should get over 200 uniques this month which will make this the highest out of any of my 26 domains. How sad is that? At least it is progress!

On another note, I finally got my first payout from Sedo. Gives me some hope that I can make money off my websites even if it is a penny a month, again, it is a start.
