sipofwater.com is a blog maintained by Jacob Atchison of Vancouver, BC. Jacob has always been entrepreneurial-minded with passions for both business and technology among many other things such as hockey, photography, and psychology. Ever since being little, he has taken things apart and put them back together to figure out how they work, fixing them if they were broken.
Jacob has worked primarily as a web developer since 2000 on both Windows and Unix-based platforms using both Apache and IIS. He has programmed in languages ranging from D/X/HTML, CSS, and VBScript to C, PHP, ASP, and some C# with .NET. He’s also worked with an array of differing databases including MySQL, SQL, and Oracle.
