22 Inches is a Lot to Take In

It’s official. I finally broke down and bought an LCD monitor for my laptop. I have hymned and hawed for a few years about getting one 19″ monitor or dual 15, 17 or 19″ monitors.

Last night I purchased a Samsung 22″ Widescreen LCD Monitor. Wow is all I have to say. That and I’m glad I held out this long on buying a new monitor. I picked up a 15″ Samsung LCD rather “cheap” (at the time) a few years ago but was never overly happy with the quality of it. My girlfriend has been using the 15″ since her iBook bit the dust and she bought a Mac Mini with money she didn’t have so I was a nice guy and lent her my only monitor and remoted into my desktops instead from my laptop.

Going with a VPS

For those of you who actually read my blog, you may have noticed I’ve polished up the design of the site. This may happen some more depending on how I’m feeling but for now, I’ve just touched it up a bit.

The more I’m working on my sites, the more I’m getting frustrated whenever I’m struggling to gain access to my websites when I finally find some motivation to sit down and start working. I have only ever had reseller account and I’ve been with Dathorn for over five years now. They’ve had a “Coming Soon” up for dedicated servers for quite some time now and I don’t think they’ll be offering VPS packages anytime soon. Did some research again today and found what I think/feel is contradicting in a VPS account that hosted a maximum of 10 domains.

Should I Stay or Should I Go Now?

Doncha love how sporadic my blogging is? Anyways…

I am becoming more and more annoyed with the fact that it seems every time I sit down to start working on my websites, they become slow as molasses and at times, the server goes down. I submit a support ticket and the server is back online shortly - only this is after my dealing with shotty connections to my hosting provider causing me to swear profusely until the server finally does go offline - if I haven’t already gotten fed up and found something else to do.
