Finding My Niche? (That’s neesh, not nitch!)

I’ve been trying to learn new things lately and I think I’m on the right track. I’m getting the point of pulling myself away from learning and gearing up for the doing. There’s a lot of research I still need to do to show me how to implement a lot of what has been stewing in my head for the past few months. Now it’s time to actually write down what needs to be done where and have at it!

An Update for September, 2006

It has taken me since about Thursday night to backup my laptop. I now have to go thru the rest of the directories on my laptop to find any more rogue files and once I’m happy all my data is backed up, I will export my Email and Internet settings before the big job of finally converting my laptop into my development server.

Rebuilding the Laptop

Going to rebuild my laptop soon. I want to re-install Windows XP Pro with VMWare so I can run some flavour of Linux simultaneously whilst I’m out. I am most comfortable working in a Windows environment - not quite sold on the a Unix-based OS and wishing I had the money for a Mac. But alas, I have to work with what I have and that is my laptop!
